What I Stand For

Nature and People in the Right Light – with Passion, Empathy, and Depth

Whether on a mountain at minus 20 degrees, at a vibrant event, or in the middle of everyday work life – my images are created where stories unfold. What unites them: a keen eye, technical skill, and a sensitivity for the moment.

People and nature have always been at the heart of my work. As an experienced business and outdoor photographer, a trained geographer, a trekking guide in the Himalayas, and a ski tour leader, I navigate a wide range of environments with confidence. Whether in rugged terrain, at a company, on stage, or in the studio – I work with focus, precision, and presence when it matters most.

My curiosity and genuine interest in people and their stories have taken me to many countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, where I was deeply touched by how openly people shared their lives with me. These experiences have shown me how essential openness to other perspectives, trust, and respect are.

Photography, for me, is more than a profession: it is also a form of meditation, a quiet access to the essence of a moment. During a year living and working in a Tibetan monastery, I learned to see mindfully – with both heart and lens. This approach continues to guide me today.

Photography is more than aesthetics. It makes the fleeting visible, captures emotions, and creates meaning. And it can spark many things – perhaps even a smile on your face.
